From mosquitoes and caterpillars to life-like monkeys and snakes, Diane Gilbert's sculpture is centered in the world of nature. Diane was born and grew up in Canada's French-speaking province, Quebec. With extensive education in various art media, she worked for several years as a professional designer, creating costumes, mascots, movie props, and items for museums and other organizations.
